Chapter 1.7: Bachelorette Party and Toddlers

One morning, Jonathan went to the library to read something before his show. When he got there, he was surprised to see his brother in law on the floor. He didn't know what was going on, but he soon discovered that the parents of little Finn were at the other room, reading. Jonathan took Finn, fed him and played with him. He wanted to have a good relationship with him, because he was, indeed, his girlfriends half-brother.

Jonathan later interrumpted Melissa, saluting her and talking to her about her job and the baby. She seemed happy to be a mother, but Jonathan could feel that she really hadn't wanted to have a baby that soon. Yet, he didn't say anything about that, and changed the subject to Zoe's upcoming bachelorette party, to which Melissa was invited. Zoe hadn't wanted to invite her, but he had convinced her to start getting to know her. They didn't know each other, so the hate that Zoe felt for her was unnecesary and ridiculous.

That night, Jonathan had another performance. The location was better than the park, and he invited both Zoe and their son to watch it. They both went ther, and enjoyed how Jonathan performed his new trick with the box of mystery. It was a new object that they had given him, so that he could perform different tricks.

That night, when they got home and Zoe put Noel to sleep, she felt like she needed to have him in her arms. She was having a withdrawl.

Isn't this glitch funny?

The days kept going, and soon, it was Finn's turn of becoming a toddler. They didn't celebrate it, and Zoe only discovered it from the rumours that an alien told her that night. They became friends, but Zoe didn't really know if that friendship was really benefitial. They wouldn't see each other very well, and he wouldn't be able to vote for her in the local elections.

The day after, it was Noel's birthday. Zoe organised a party at her newly remodeled home. A lot of people came, but since Zoe had to take Noel to the birthday cake and she went outside to take him because Jonathan was the one holding him and he left him outside in the snow, most of the guests had already left by the time they arrived at the cake. Yet, both parents were happy of seeing their first child grow into a toddler, so they really didn't care about anything else.

Then, Zoe left his son in the snow again, so that he could age up. The poor baby was freezing, but he aged up well, and got a little makeover thanks to the clothes that they had purchased a couple of days ago. He was a lovely baby, but he was very tired, so he took a nap before starting to learn new things.

A week later, Zoe had her bachelorette party at the Dark Night Lounge. She literally invited all of the girls she knew in town, and went there leaving little Finn at home with the babysitter while Jonathan was working.
When she got there, and as she was getting out of the elevator, she fell. As embarrasing as that was, she didn't even bother caring about it. That night was gonna be awesome, and she would have a lot of fun.

As all af the girls started arriving, Zoe could only notice her friend Abby's outfit, which was definitely not appropriate fot the ocasion. Yet, she didn't tell her anything, since she had always been a little weird.

After dancing and dancing, Zoe started getting tired, but before the party ended, she wanted to have the opportunity to start getting to know Melissa, so they chatted for a while, and then Zoe decided to have some fun. She didn't really know what to expect from her, but she surprised her when she reacted happily. It seemed like they could even be friends, which made Zoe very happy. She didn't want to hate her forever without even knowing her, but being with her father was probably not the best thing to do.

That same day, Samuel turned into an elder, at home, alone except for her son, who was too young to notice the important event. While he was becoming an elder, Zoe started teaching his son how to walk, and the best space she found to do so was the backyard, in the middle of the snow. Perhaps winter was not the best moment to be parents.

I am very sorry for not posting anything for so long, but I couldn't even play the sims, since my final exams have required even more work than I had expected. Luckily, I have finished them, and now I only have to do the specific exams for accessing university, so I will be back on schedule pretty soon. I hope to post at least one chapter per week until half of June.
Again, I'm sorry for everything, and I hope you haven't decided to abandon me for such a long wait.
Thanks <3

Chapter 1.6: Babies are Born, New Room and New Look

For the next couple of months, Zoe's belly grew huge. She was always tired, and always hungry; but luckily, he had an awesome boyfriend who was ready to please her, even though she sometimes asked for weird things.

That morning, while Jonathan was heading to the library trying to get informed about paternity, Zoe finished her first painting since she had arrived to Storybrook County. It obviously wasn't her best, but she knew they would get better. Even though it really wasn't a good piece of art, she managed to sell it for 47 simoleons, which was not bad at all.

I wonder what this painting's name could be...

Zoe received an invitation from Matthew Hamming for his upcoming party, which would be held a couple of hours later. Zoe knew that going to a party could be very beneficial, but the weather wasn't looking really good, since it was raining, and it was also pretty foggy. Yet, there was also a beautiful rainbow (needed to show it).

Finally, Zoe decided to attend the party, so she took a taxi and headed to the city centre. When she arrived at Matthew's party, though, she regretted it: Melissa was there, and she was as pregnant as Zoe was herself. She was getting ready to leave without being noticed, but the host suddenly appeared and saluted her, obligating her to stay.

She of course decided to ignore Melissa for the entire night, and got use of the night by making some friends and meeting new people. Matthew's acquaintances were lovely people, and Zoe found herself really enjoying the night.
Yet, something had to happen to her, so Melissa went into labour. Zoe didn't know what to do, but in the end decided to take her to the hospital. She was pleased, but didn't even thank her before entering the building.

Only a couple of minutes after entering the hospital, she exited it carrying a baby named Finn. She took a cab without even saying goodbye to Zoe, but she didn't get upset. She saw a food track, and decided to have a burrito before going back home.

But, suddenly, something unexpected happened: she went into labour too. She was happy to be so close to the hospital, so she quickly sent a text to Jonathan telling him that their baby was coming; and ran into the hospital.

About a couple of hours later, Zoe and Jonathan, who had just joined her, got out of the hospital carrying their newborn baby: Noel Harries. He was an athletic sim who loved the cold.

They went home, only to find out that Jonathan had been working on something: the baby's nursery. Zoe loved it very much, so after putting the baby on his new crib, she stood ther for a couple of minutes, admiring the job that his fiancée had done with the small budget that they had.

Also, and feeling much more mature than before being pregnant, Zoe decided to have a makeover. She felt beautiful, better than she had expected, and being happy just made everything look prettier. She could just hope that her family wasn't ruined by the Gray-Harries family.

Chapter 1.5: Samuel the Unexpected

A couple of weeks later, as Jonathan was returning home, he heard some interesting news. A new couple had just arrived in town. They were Samuel and Melissa Harries-Gray. Jonathan knew who that man was. It was Zoe's father. He told her about him being there, but she didn't even want to listen. She clearly didn't want to get reunited with her only family.
So, he decided to tell her the other thing he had been thinking of for days. He first hugged her and kissed, her, making her feel more important and loved than ever.

Then, he put one of his knees on the floor, and Zoe quickly knew what he was about to do. She could feel the tears reaching her eyes. She was about to cry. Jonathan searched for something on one of his pockets, and finally found a not very big box. He opened it, and Zoe saw a beautiful ring, with a diamond. That ring had probably costed more than it should have. Feeling very shy and a little insecure, Jonathan asked: "Zoe Anne Harries, do you wish to be my wife for the rest of our lifes?".
Zoe started crying, so much that she couldn't even say "yes", so she just nodded. Jonathan took the ring and put it on her finger. Then they hugged, and Zoe was finally able to tell his newly fiancée how much she loved him.

While hugging her, Jonathan whispered that she was beautiful, and that he loved her more than he could have ever imagined, they headed to the bed. Zoe suddenly felt insecure. Jonathan had very patient since she had told him that she hadn't been with a man before. She knew she loved him, but she didn't want to make any mistakes. She blushed more than what could have been possible, and stopped hugging his fiancée.
He saw how nervous she was, so he sat in the bed and told her to do the same. He carefully stroke her cheek, and told her that he wouldn't do anything she didn't want, but that if she never tried, she would never get rid of that fear. He kissed her again, and then gently caressed one of her arms.
And she soon found herself decided to spend the most amazing night of her life with the most amazing of the mens. She kissed him back, and laid down on the bed. He kissed her neck, and she started to be sure about what she wanted for the night. Everything would be alright.

Zoe woke up extremely exhausted the next day, like she hadn't slept at all. That night was awesome. Jonathan had treated her like a princess, and she found herself really enjoying being treated like that. Yet, the fact that his father was in Storybrook County made her feel nervous. The last time she saw him, he was sitting in a couch with a beer on his hand, completely drunk; but aparently, he was now a very famous journalist, and was engaged to a beautiful young actress called Melissa Gray.
She had heard of her. She had been very polemic with her last relationship, which had ended only a couple of months ago, so her father and her couldn't have been together for a long time. It worried her. Her father was probably just dating her because of the money, which also meant that he had almost certainly moved to Storybrook County for a reason. And that reason was probably her.
That same morning, after auditioning for his first gig, Jonathan headed to Samuel and Melissa Harries-Gray's house. He wanted to meet him, and learn more about him. They soon ended up becoming friends, and Jonathan also discovered that Melissa was pregnant. That was going to be weird for Zoe, getting a half-sibling at the age of 22.

But Zoe also found out something while she was at home, after having stayed at home because of an illness. She was pregnant as well. She was gonna be a mother. And she wasn't totally sure about being prepared for it.

The next morning, and after telling his husband the good news, she asked for some pancakes. She had wanted them since a couple of hours ago, when she woke up at 6am.
Yet, Jonathan was still not the best cook, so he ended up burning them... and the oven.

Later that day, the couple headed to the festival grounds, where Jonathan's first gig would take place. It was then when the magician decided to tell his fiancée about having visited her father and about Melissa's pregnancy. She didn't really like what he had done, but the argument between them had to stop because it was time for the gig to start. Despite, being upset, Zoe sat down on the first and only row, and cheered Jonathan, though she was the only one watching the show.

After the show had ended, Zoe decided that being upset to her boyfriend was ridiculous, so she kissed him, in front of everyone. They loved each other, and there was nothing wrong about it. Not even having a child without being married.

Another chapter completed! I would love to get some name suggestions, since I'm pretty awful at choosing them and always end up using the same three or four. Also, I wanted to introduce you to Samuel and Melissa:

I know he doesn't look old, but it was that or having a grandad for Zoe

Hope you liked it :)
